About / Our Approach
A modern take on a traditional craft.
Green & Glass was founded on a simple idea: garden rooms should be engineered with the same rigour as the homes they sit beside — and built with the speed and precision modern manufacturing allows.
Our story
Premium craft, productised.
We came together from architecture, construction and product design. We saw the gap between bespoke architects' studios — beautiful but slow and expensive — and the flat-pack garden offices flooding the market. Green & Glass sits between them: a productised approach to premium garden rooms, scalable and nationally accessible without losing the personal service of a small studio.

Process
Three steps. No surprises.
01
Consultation
We visit your site, understand your brief, and advise on planning, foundations and finishes. You leave with a transparent fixed-price quote.
02
Design
We turn the brief into render-led drawings — glazing, layout, finishes — until you can see exactly what you'll get.
03
Build
Factory-precise SIP panels arrive with our installers. Foundations to handover in days, not months.
Trades network
Trusted hands, nationwide.
Our installer network is the spine of the business. Every team is vetted, trained on our SIP system, and accountable to the same standard whether they're in Bath, Bristol, Cheltenham or further afield. One company, one quality bar — wherever you are.
Sustainability
Eco conscious by design
Sustainability isn't a bolt-on for us — it's built into every stage of how we specify, deliver and install a Green & Glass room.
Eco-friendly vans
Our delivery and install fleet is transitioning to low-emission and electric vehicles to reduce the carbon footprint of every install.
Eco-friendly roof options
Sedum / green roofs, responsibly sourced timber, high-performance insulation and solar-ready detailing on request.
Ground screw foundations
No concrete, no curing, no waste. Fully removable and recyclable at end of life — the garden goes back to how it was.
Responsibly sourced materials
FSC / PEFC-certified timber, low-VOC finishes and recyclable cladding options across every build.
Energy-efficient envelope
SIP construction delivers Passivhaus-comparable U-values, cutting the energy your room uses year-round.
Minimal site waste
Panels are cut to order off-site, so on-site waste is negligible compared with traditional builds.
